This 27(ish) mile loop is nestled in a corner of the Loyalsock region and (in my opinion) delivers highlights of all that’s enjoyable about hiking in Pennsylvania.

While nothing too noteworthy, it made for nice walking–with all the mountain laurel surrounding the path, it would be lovely to visit in spring when it is blooming.
The Allegheny Front Trail, (AFT), is my favorite local trail. For me, it's slightly closer than Dolly Sods and offers a longer drier loop on a well maintained trail.
