Trip Report: Maine Huts and Trails 2024 (Jen’s Version)
All of that is to say that it’s hard to guarantee perfection in Maine in the winter, but it’s easy to make sure you have a group of people who can roll with the conditions and have fun while doing it.
Old Logger’s Path: “There’s nothing like a full day on the trail”
This 27(ish) mile loop is nestled in a corner of the Loyalsock region and (in my opinion) delivers highlights of all that’s enjoyable about hiking in Pennsylvania.
Trip Report: Caledonia to Pen Mar (AT)
While nothing too noteworthy, it made for nice walking–with all the mountain laurel surrounding the path, it would be lovely to visit in spring when it is blooming.
